Apologies

I apologize for my lack of updates on here.  Clearly that one goal of blogging more was not achieved this year.  I have also read several books since the last review I posted, I just haven’t added them on here yet.

Cheers

BookCon 2018

Okay, now that I’ve officially gotten my autograph tickets for BookCon, I am too excited and need to talk about it here.

I went last year to BookCon and it was amazing!  (If you’re super bored and want to read an extremely lengthy recap of it, click here).  I actually have less MUST-DO’s on my list this year, so I’m hoping to use the extra time going around the show floor and trying for prizes I didn’t get to last year because of the extra long lines. Currently Reading | Some random thoughts

So I finally, finally picked A Conjuring of Light back up (it’s been 2 months) and I feel like I’m no longer in a slump with it anymore, yay!!  (Okay so I also put it down cause I was super behind on ARC reading…).

I started This Mortal Coil which comes out…Tuesday….might not make it in time for that one.  I’m only 50 pages in and it’s so far half action and half science-talk-explanation-stuff so I’m kind of 50/50 on my feelings for it right now.

And then there is The City of Brass which I am only 1 and a half chapters into but it’s kind of already pulling me in so, definitely some high hopes there!

So, what is everyone else currently reading and what are your thoughts?

Shout Out to my Favorite, Libba Bray

I’ve mentioned that Libba Bray is my favorite author right?  (Confession, still need to read Beauty Queens.)  Well, read this interview from EW and see just how amazing she is and seriously I need to meet her one day.  (I’ll probably clam up and not say anything but still.)

It’s all about feminism and females authors and in the movie business and just…amazing.  She’s amazing.  I love her so much.
